Ms. Marcus received her B.A, cum laude, from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2001. She received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2004 where she served as the Articles Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender. Ms. Marcus is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and the State of New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.

Ms. Marcus has concentrated her practice in the areas of securities litigation and antitrust class actions. She is part of the team that is litigating In re: Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. Deriv. Litig., C.A. No. 753-VCS (Del. Ch.) asserting claims against certain current and former officers and directors of MMC and Marsh for allegedly engaging in market service agreements between Marsh and various insurance carriers. These agreements created an improper incentive for Marsh to steer business to these insurance carriers and to shield them from competition. Ms. Marcus is also actively involved in antitrust class actions including: In Re Hypodermic Products Antitrust Litig., MDL No. 1730 (D.N.J.), Cronin v. Sirius XM Radio Inc., No. 09-cv-10468, and In re Online DVD Rental Antitrust Litig., MDL No. 2029 (N.D. Cal.).

Ms. Marcus is a member of the Young Lawyers Committee of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Federal Bar Council, and the New York State Bar Association.
