ARTHUR N. ABBEY SPEAKS AT NEW YORK LAW SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT LUNCHEON ON COMPLEX LITIGATION
Founding Partner, Arthur N. Abbey was a keynote speaker at a Spotlight Luncheon on Complex Litigation hosted by New York Law School. The luncheon was held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 12:30pm to 2:00pm in New York City.
Among other issues relating to complex litigation, Mr. Abbey discussed his recent achievement serving as lead counsel in a securities fraud case against Vivendi Universal, S.A.. After a three month trial, a jury found Vivendi liable for securities fraud on all 57 material misstatements. This verdict is believed to be one of the largest in any securities class action.
