ABBEY SPANIER RODD & ABRAMS, LLP ANNOUNCES CLASS ACTION SECURITIES FRAUD SUIT ON BEHALF OF FUQI CORPORATION INVESTORS

March 26, 2010 – Abbey Spanier Rodd & Abrams, LLP commenced a Class Action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of a class (the "Class") of all persons who purchased or acquired securities of Fuqi Corporation ("Fuqi" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:FUQI) between May 15, 2009 and March 16, 2010 inclusive (the "Class Period"). The Class includes investors who purchased Fuqi common stock in Fuqi's August 5, 2009 secondary offering.

The Complaint alleges that Fuqi and certain of its officers and directors violated the federal securities laws by issuing a series of material misrepresentations during the Class Period, thereby artificially inflating the price of Fuqi securities. The Complaint alleges, among other things, that defendants failed to disclose the truth concerning Fuqi's financial results for 2009. Specifically, defendants understated Fuqi's cost of goods sold and overstated gross profit and net income in violation of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other applicable regulation. On March 16, 2010, defendants announced that Fuqi's financial statements had been materially misstated for the first three quarters of 2009 and that there will be a delay in filing Fuqi's Annual Report on Form 10-K.

If you purchased or otherwise acquired Fuqi securities during the Class Period, including purchases in the August 5, 2009 offering, you may wish to seek appointment as the lead plaintiff. If you so choose, you must request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff no later than May 18, 2010.
