Founding Partner, Arthur N. Abbey will be an honoree at the 10th Anniversary celebration event of the Kathryn A. McDonald Education Advocacy Project ("EAP") on April 6, 2011, presented by The Legal Aid Society and the Juvenile Rights Practice.

The EAP provides early intervention and special education advocacy to children who are the subject of active child protective proceedings in one of the NYC Family Courts, and are represented by a law guardian from the Juvenile Rights Division. Without an advocate, these children's needs often go unmet. Since 2001, EAP has provided direct advocacy services to over 1,900 abused and neglected children. EAP relies on the generous support of foundations and individual donors to continue its work.

The event will be held at The Dillon Gallery from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
